It’s due to cultural contacts with the west that we have included many of thier lifestyles in that of ours . Many of the recipes , up till now unknown to us , have become our day-to-day habits . The pop-music is now prefered to that of the classical one . Similarly , numerous elements have been mixed with our dance system also . Our film makings have improved many folds coming in touch with the film makers of the other parts of the world . Our dresses and their designs are not so which existed in the past . They have changed completely . Even people working in the fields prefer pants and shirts than our traditional dresses like Dhoti & Kurta . So , Cultural Contacts have shaped our lives considerably the world over .
